Search provides the capability that lets users quickly and effectively search the content or product catalogs in a store.
Search Scope
Configure search scope for search forms on the website.
In Customize » Theme settings, Open group
Search then locate Search Scope. Here you can make the necessary configurations.
- Product : Allow return results to include product.
- Articles : Allow return results to include article.
- Pages : Allow return results to include page.
- Collections : Allow return results to include Collections. Shopify only supports returning Collections on search Predictive. Not supported on searc page
- Results for unavailable products : Location shows unavailable products or hides them.
Search Predictive
In Customize » Theme settings, Open group
Search then locate Search Predictive. Here you can make the necessary configurations.
- Enable Predictive Search : Enable/Disable Predictive Search.
- Limit Result : Limit search results returned to Predictive.
- Most searched keywords : Recommend most searched keywords in your store to customers. For example: t-shirt, dress, black.
- Collection recommended : Select a collection to recommend for customers.
